Series Five arms, from Serial number 366 to 1298. Original owners of Series Five micrometer arms qualify for update to Series Six specification.
The conversion can be made to the micrometer version of the Series Five arm and includes the complete new arm tube assembly, new antiskate, revised horizontal bearings. It retains the original arm yoke, wiring, counterweight and a modified base, though all of those have some modifications.
For reliability, the wiring loom needs to be brought up to the current specification. For later arms this can be replacement of the signal wires with the current cryo-treated silver in teflon one. Some earlier arms might need a complete new loom. Prices from £80 to £210.

The non-micrometer Classic III or Series Five arms can be updated to Classic Six specification.
